Records of the Atlantic Avenue Commission consist of minutes of the Board for the Atlantic Avenue Improvement, 1897-1901, containing discussions about legislation for the improvement of Atlantic Avenue. Also one typescript notebook, 1896, containing statements of legislative enactments, agreements, judicial decisions, and other proceedings which the Long Island Railroad Co. claimed gave them the right to operate its road by steam power on Atlantic Avenue and was compiled by counsel for use of the Commission.
